Saw Station Settings: Board Properties and Bevels

Open the Preset Manager > Saws/Tables window to set up and revise saw settings for board properties and bevels.

Field Descriptions

The following table lists field descriptions.

Section/Field	Description
Board Properties
Feed Length	Set the minimum and maximum lumber stock lengths which can be fed to the saw.
Piece Length	Set the minimum and maximum length a piece can be cut to.
Board Depth (Exact)	Set the minimum and maximum board depth, where the depth is the narrower dimension of the board cross section.
Board Width (Exact)	Set the minimum and maximum board width, where the width is the wider dimension of the board cross section. Typically, this ranges from 2.5" to 11.25".
Bevels
Single	Select single for the saw to cut one bevel.
Double	Select double for the saw to cut two bevels on one end.

Accessing

1. In the main Project List window, select Tools.

2. Select Saws/Tables.

3. In the Preset Manager, click to add a new saw or click to revise an existing saw.

4. Revise the Board Properties and/or Bevels information.

5. Click Close.
