Add a Saw

Purpose

Use saws to cut lumber for trusses.

Prerequisites

A default station scheme and saw must be set up during installation.

Steps

To add a saw:

1. From the main CS Director window, select Tools.
2. Click Saws/Tables.

• Click to add a new saw. The new saw displays below the existing saws.

Saws display in descending order, from top to bottom. For example, in the figure above, the new saw labeled with a default name displays at the bottom.

4. After the saw is created, click and drag it to the order in which you want.
5. Click the new saw to name.
6. In the Station Settings section, select the attributes for the new saw. For details, see:

7. Click Close.
