Purpose |
In some cases, groups can be sporadically organized within the components tab. Use Sort Groups option to organize the groups using a sorting routine. Sort Groups does not change the order of components within the groups. The sorting routine looks for the first set of numbers and organizes them as one multi-digit number. This results in an order of 1,2...9,10 instead of 1,10,2...9. |

Prerequisites |
Before sorting groups, multiple component groups must exist within the project. |

Steps
|
To sort components within selected groups: 1. In the Project List window, select a project. 2. Click Components.
3. Select the Components tab for a project. 4. Click to highlight the group(s) to be sorted. Use CTRL to select multiple groups to be sorted.
5. Click Sort Groups and all components within the selected groups are sorted using the Natural Sorting routine.
