Purpose |
Projects are stored on the server for access by all users. Use check out project to download project files and information to your local system for viewing or editing. Using Check Out Project locks the project. When the project is checked out for view, you can view all project information, such as pricing and reporting. You can not edit the project. You can change Task fields, Dates, and Print Reports. Clients must be connected to the network in order to access the server data. |

To check out a project for view:
Performance may be improved when Include Attachments is unchecked.
When a project is checked out for edit or view, all required project data is transferred from the server to the client. This allows users to check out one or more projects for edit, and disconnect from the server if necessary.
