Purpose |
Groups can exist that consist of zero components and are not needed for production. Use the following steps to delete a group.

Prerequisites |
Prior deleting a group, verify that more than one group exists. If attempting to delete the last/only group, the following message displays.

Steps
|
To delete a group: 1. Left click to highlight a group name.
2. Click Delete Group.
When the cursor is positioned over a group name, this command is also available from the right-click menu.
3. Verify selected group. The group displayed is the group to be deleted.
4. Click OK. Any component that was included in the deleted group is automatically appended to the preceding group.
