Project List Overview

The Project List is the opening window in CS Director. From this window you can create new projects and open existing projects. The comprehensive view allows you to choose from available project data, reorder columns, filter, sort, and search for information that is most important to you. Use the Project List to:

• View, sort and filter projects on a grid
• View, sort and filter calendars by task and employee
• Create new projects and open existing projects
• Check out / check in projects
• Edit data tables
• Generate cross-project reports
• View and edit preset templates
• Export and import files and design data packages

Client/Server Mode

Client/Server Mode allows multiple users (clients) to access project information from a shared repository (server).

Column Chooser

The Column Chooser allows you to customize the Project List by easily selecting the types of information and data to display. Once selected,drag and drop them in any order on the Project List grid.

Columns to display on the Project List are selected using the Column Chooser icon in the upper right corner of the Project List.
