People Information

Summary

People Information provides three tabs of information about the employees in a company.

Accessing

People Information

1.  In the Project List window, select Administration.

2.  Select Administration > Employees.

3.  Double click an Employee and the People Information window displays three tabs of employee information: Business, Personal, and Admin.

Business tab

4.  Click the Business tab to enter work-related information about the employee.

Section/Field

Description

General Information

First Name

First name of an employee.

Last Name

Last name of an employee.

Personal ID

User-defined alpha-numeric number assigned to an employee.

Import New Picture

Click to import a picture of the selected employee.

Company Information

Position

Select a job title from the drop down list.

Department

Select a company work group or department from the drop down list.

Shift

Select a job shift from the drop down list.

Facility

Select the facility where an employee is assigned.

Active

Indicates whether the person is an active employee. Since employees are typically associated with existing projects, Director allows you to make former employees inactive (rather than completely removing them from the database), which removes them as a selection from drop down lists.

Direct Phone

Main telephone number for the company.

Cell Phone

Fax telephone number for the company.

Email Address(es)

Email address for employee.

Hourly Pay Rate $

Hourly pay rate for employee.

Loaded Pay Rate $

Loaded pay rate for employee.

   

Personal tab

5.  Click the Personal tab to enter personal details about the employee.

Second line of personal mailing address for employee.

City for personal mailing address.

State or Province

State for personal mailing address.

County for personal mailing address.

Zip or Postal Code

Zip or postal code for personal mailing address.

Emergency Contact

Name of emergency contact for employee.

Home Phone

Home phone number for employee.

Emergency Phone

Emergency phone for employee's emergency contact.

Cell Phone

Cell phone number for employee.

Admin tab

People Information - Admin

6.  Click the Admin tab to assign a user name and password.

Username

Administrator-assigned name for user.

Set/Change Password

Set or change the password for the associated user. Click to assign a new password or change an existing password.
