Delete Project

 

Purpose

Use Delete Project to permanently remove all files and database entries associated with a bid, project, master project, or change order.

Prerequisites

Existing bids, projects, master projects or change orders must already exist.

Steps

Note: As of 2018r5sp2, you cannot delete any project that has ever been checked into the server. You are still able to delete “local” projects that have never been checked in. This is a temporary limitation and a resolution is forthcoming. For projects that have been checked in, it is recommended to use Archive Project to remove a project from the “live” database, if needed.

To delete a project:

  1. From the main CS Director window, select Project List.
  2. Select a project from the Project List.
  3. Click Delete Project and a warning displays.


  1. To verify a deletion of the project and all associated files, click Yes.
