Add/New Item

Purpose

Use Add/New Item to add miscellaneous materials or items to the miscellaneous database for a specific material catalog.

Prerequisites

An existing catalog must exist.

Steps

To add an item:

  1. From the main CS Director window, select Project List.
  2. Click Material Catalogs.

  1. Click Selection & Pricing under the Miscellaneous section.

  2. Click Add Item.

  1. In the blank row that displays in the product grid, select a Category from the drop down list or type a new Category in the field.

  1. Enter a description in the Item field.
  2. After the Item is added, the remaining fields can be modified. For a description of the remaining fields, see Pricing Tab commands.

Note: In single plan mode, items are added automatically
