Summary

This trend presents many challenges for the bracing requirements of the International Residential Code. This session evaluates those challenges and offers multiple solutions, including both site-built and prefabricated options.
Target Audience: Building Inspectors, Code Officials, Specifiers
Learning Objectives:
- Identify design trends that are noncompliant with the wall bracing provisions in the IRC.
- Provide multiple options to bring those designs in compliance with the code requirements.
