Summary

Join us for part two of a three-part webinar series on the latest design solutions for structural steel buildings using braced frame connections to resist wind and seismic forces.

This second webinar being held on June 27 will take a more in-depth look into the design requirements of the Yield-Link® brace connection (YLBC). We'll discuss the various product configurations, the ICC report and how the Yield-Link® brace connection can benefit your structural steel design.

Join Clifton Melcher, group product manager, and Mary Nunneley, research and development engineer for a one-hour webinar and Q&A session, where you’ll discover how to integrate the YLBC into your current designs to maximize efficiency and resiliency throughout the construction process.

NOTE: The webinar presentation and Q&A session will be one hour long.

As a result of attending this webinar, you should be able to:

  • Explain the design process for the Yield-Link brace connection
  • Utilize prequalified steel brace frames to improve safety and lower construction time and costs
  • Good understanding of YLBC product, use and benefits
Continuing education credits will be offered for this webinar. Participants can earn one professional development hour (PDH) for attending the first hour of the webinar. Contact training@strongtie.com with any questions.
