Summary
Simpson Strong-Tie® Anchor Designer™ V3.0 is the latest anchorage design tool to assist structural engineers in meeting the strength design provisions of ACI 318-14 Chapter 17 / ACI 318-11 Appendix D; CAN/ CSA A23.3 Annex D; ETAG 001 Annex C; or EOTA TR029 design methodologies. Anchor Designer will quickly and accurately analyze an existing design or suggest anchorage solutions for cracked and uncracked concrete conditions based on user-defined design elements.
The real-time design is visually represented in a fully interactive 3D graphic user interface. Anchor Designer supports a wide range of Simpson Strong-Tie mechanical and adhesive anchor solutions as well as cast-in-place anchors. It can calculate either single-anchor solutions or up to 16 anchors in a single plate. Saved calculations from previous versions of Simpson Strong-Tie anchor design software may even be uploaded into Anchor Designer, and the detailed output will be provided in convenient PDF format.
Additional features include:
- Customizable anchor pattern.
- Ability to calculate single anchor model or to calculate multiple anchor models at once.
- Rectangular, circular, L-shape and T-shape base plate geometries.
- And much more!
