Vince Yang, P.E., is a software project manager with Simpson Strong-Tie and specializes in structural steel. Prior to joining Simpson in 2019, he was a structural design engineer working in Southern California and designed various schools, medical facilities, churches and office buildings. Vince also spent a few years working for the International Code Council, where he worked on Code Reports and Acceptance Criteria for new building products. Vince received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, San Diego and his master’s degree in civil engineering from Cal State Long Beach. He is also a licensed civil engineer in the state of California.
