Doug is an Engineer supporting the Southeast US region for Simpson Strong-Tie. He has a robust background of over 20 years of experience including roles as a Carpenter, Contractor, Structures Lab Tech, Research Assistant, Structural Designer, and Structural Engineer prior to joining Simpson Strong-Tie in 2016. Doug completed his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. Doug provides a unique contribution to the engineering team, providing rare insights while understanding the overarching aspects of the construction industry. Doug is a practicing Engineer in the State of Texas.
