Rotate

Purpose

Input an angle of rotation to manipulate a plate position.

Prerequisites

An existing truss with plates

Steps

 

To use the Rotation feature:

  1. Open an existing truss.
  1. Click Run to analyze the truss and plate the joints.

The truss is plated. A sample truss is displayed below.

 

  1. Right-click a plated joint and select Plate Monitor to display information for that joint in the Properties window.

  1. Select Rotation and choose an option from the drop down list.

The plate is rotated based on the angle you selected.
