Purpose
The Miter option applies a miter cut to a joint. A Miter cut makes the inside lines intersect; when the lumber is the same size this is the bisecting angle.
Prerequisites
An existing truss
Steps
To use the Miter option:
- Open the truss and select the joint.
- On the main toolbar, select Joint and then select Joint Geometry.
The Joint Geometry window displays.
- Select Miter.
A miter cut is applied.
