Purpose
Data collected from users helps Simpson Strong-Tie understand which functionality is most important to customers.
Steps
As part of the installation process Simpson Strong-Tie collects certain information. Depending on your type of installation, you can change this setting as follows:

From the pop-up window that displays in Configuration Manager during the Server installation, click Decline.

On the Configuration Manager Diagnostics tab during Server installation or after installation, click Disable Telemetry.
We do not collect any type of personal information and all data collected is anonymous so that it cannot be associated with a specific user. The types of information collected may include:

User ID/customer license number

Host name
-
Client version of Windows
-
Client City, State or Province, and Country or Region
Future releases may collect additional data such as amount of time spent in each module and which features are accessed most frequently. This information will help us understand which functionality is most important to you so that we may concentrate our efforts on improving those parts of the software.
