Check Truss Designs

Purpose

 Highlight trusses with settings that are inconsistent with other truss settings in the project. You have the option to fix the problems prior to sending the project to Engineering.

Steps

 

Watch video - Design Check before Send to Engineering

  1. Open a project.
  1. Click Tools > .

If there are inconsistencies, a message displays.

3. Click No.

Design Check returns results for all trusses in the selected project. A sample is shown below. Tabs that contain inconsistencies are highlighted in red.

3. Click a red tab to see error details.

If all trusses pass the design check, a message displays.

4. Click Yes to review the trusses.
