Add Lumber to Material Catalog

Purpose

To add lumber to inventory for use in truss design or for loose ship items in the project.

Prerequisites

A material catalog must exist.

Steps

To add lumber:

  1. From the main CS Director window, select Project List.
  2. Click Material Catalogs.

  1. Select Selection in the Lumber > Dimensional or Structural Composite Lumber section.

    or

  2. Click Add Lumber.

  1. Click Add Products...

A list of lumber products displays.

  1. Specify a species, grade, thickness and width of the lumber to add and click Add To List.

Use CTRL to select more than one item at a time.

  1. After the list is created, click OK.

  1. Click OK to add the items to the inventory list. Additional properties can be modified from this window.
