- Enable this setting at EnvData > LayoutSettings > MfgControls > Add banding note at last release group truss.
- Click
to open the Stack List/Release Groups dialog.
- Click the Release Groups tab.
When the Add Banding Note to Last Truss option is enabled, the last truss selected in the release group will have banding and a banding note associated with it; the banding note is the release group name.
-
If you later add another truss to the release group, that truss inherits the banding note, since it is now the last truss, and the previous last truss has the banding toggled off; the same is true if the last truss is moved.
-
If you edit the banding note by either toggling it on/off or manually editing the banding note label, the note will not be removed or edited if another truss is added after it. The newly added truss receives the banding and banding note, but the banding and banding note that was edited is retained.
-
If you move the truss with the auto banding note in the stack list, it no longer updates the note or banding for that truss.
-
If the release group name changes, the banding note is updated.
-
If you edit the banding note label in the stack list, the release group name will not be updated to match the edited banding note.
-
In 2025.1, the Stack list and Release Groups dialogs were reorganized for a better user experience. Subtotals display in red and buttons on the Stack List toolbar buttons are grouped by function.
